What Is Dragon East in Blox Fruits?

Dragon (East) is the Eastern variant of the reworked Dragon fruit. It is a Mythical Beast-type fruit that turns you into a long, serpentine dragon modelled on East Asian folklore rather than the armoured European wyvern you get with West. Visually the two are nothing alike. Mechanically they are closer than most people expect.

Both variants arrived in Update 24 (December 2024), when the old single Dragon fruit was split in two and rebuilt from scratch. The rework added a Fury Meter, a hybrid dragon-human state, and a full transformation. Values for both variants climbed hard through 2025 and have stayed in the billions since.

Here is the part people get wrong. Dragon East is not the “worse” Dragon. It is the better fruit for raids, sea events, and anything where you are hitting more than one target. Its transformed model is the biggest in the game, its area moves cover wider arcs, and its Fury drains slower so you stay transformed longer. West wins duels. East wins rooms full of enemies.

Why East Trades Slightly Below West

It comes down to who is doing the trading. The high-value Blox Fruits market is mostly PvP players, and PvP players want the fastest flight and the Instinct-breaking Z move, both of which belong to West. East’s advantages show up in raid clear times, which nobody screenshots. So East settles roughly 10 to 15 percent under West and has done so consistently since mid-2025.

That gap is a trading fact, not a quality judgement. Plenty of endgame players run East by choice and never feel undergunned.

Physical vs Permanent Dragon East

The physical fruit (4.5B) is consumable. Eat something else and it is gone. The permanent version (11.2B) lives in your permanent inventory and stays there no matter what you eat afterwards, which is why it trades at roughly two and a half times the physical price.

One detail worth knowing: the 5,000 Robux permanent Dragon purchase gives you access to both variants. You pick West or East each time you transform. If you are buying with Robux, you are not choosing a side at all. Full breakdown on the Permanent Dragon East page.

๐Ÿ“Œ Dragon East is the #2 item in the Blox Fruits market. Only Dragon West sits above it on both the physical and permanent lists. Demand has held at 10/10 without a break since Update 24. Check the full value list for where everything else lands.

How to Get Dragon (East) in Blox Fruits 2026

There are four realistic routes and one that technically exists but is not worth planning around.

1. Blox Fruit Dealer โ€” 15M Beli (Physical)

The dealer sells physical Dragon for 15,000,000 Beli when it is in stock. Stock rotates every few hours and Dragon does not appear every rotation, so you will be checking back. Have the Beli banked before you start refreshing, because the fruit does not wait. Our blog covers the fastest endgame money methods if you are still short.

2. Permanent Purchase โ€” 5,000 Robux

Buying permanent Dragon for 5,000 Robux gives you both variants on the same account. You switch between West and East at the transformation prompt. At 11.2B trade value versus 4.5B for the physical, this is the better use of Robux by a wide margin if you were going to spend anyway.

3. Trading

Most Dragon East owners got theirs through a trade. Expect to put together 4.2B to 4.8B in genuine physical value, or a stack of top-tier permanents. Be ready for the offer to sit for a while. At 10/10 demand there is no shortage of people who want one and a real shortage of people willing to let one go. Run every offer through the trade calculator first. A 5 percent misread at this tier is over 200M.

4. Random Spawn

Dragon can spawn naturally like any other fruit. At Mythical rarity the odds are dismal and every player on the server is hunting the same spawn. Private servers improve your chances a little because you are not racing anyone, but nobody should treat this as a plan.

5. Dragon Tokens (Closed)

When Update 24 landed, existing Dragon owners were issued tokens to convert into the new variants, and permanent owners got a discounted redemption path. Those tokens are long gone. They occasionally resurface during anniversary events, so it is worth watching the official Blox Fruits game page, but do not count on it.

โš ๏ธ Scam warning: No generator, no script, no “Dragon East giveaway” Discord bot gives out real fruits. Those are credential-harvesting pages or inventory scams, without exception. Dragon East comes from Beli, Robux, or a legitimate in-game trade. Read the scam prevention guide before you trade anything at this value.

Dragon East Abilities & Full Moveset

Dragon East shares move names with West but the behaviour differs on almost every one. Full transformation unlocks at 350 mastery. You build the Fury Meter in base form, spend it in hybrid or full dragon form, and manage it carefully if you want to be useful for more than thirty seconds.

Base Form

M1 / LMB

Claw Slash Combo

Three-hit claw chain ending in a fire trail. This is how you fill the Fury Meter. Nothing clever about it, but you will be using it constantly, and East’s slightly wider swing arc makes it a bit more forgiving against grouped mobs.

~1,358 per hitFury Builder
Z

Heatwave Cannon

A fire beam from the mouth with an explosion at the end. East’s version is wider and shorter than West’s. That trade works out well in raids, where a fat cone hits five mobs at once, and works against you in duels, where the shorter reach lets people walk out of it. This version does not break Instinct.

~6,516 chargedWide Cone
X

Infernal Pincer

Dash, grab, drag along the ground, then slam with a fire burst. Residual flames keep burning after the slam. Reliable hitbox, decent range on the dash, and it works fine as a combo opener when your target has already used their dodge.

~4,100 + burnCombo Finisher
C

Imperial Roll

Spin forward inside a ring of fire, catch anyone in the rotation, slam them down. East’s spin radius is noticeably wider than West’s, which is exactly what you want when you are rolling through a pack of raid mobs and exactly what you do not want when you are trying to land a precise hit on one player.

~4,480 impactWide AoE
V

Imperial Evolution (Hybrid)

Hybrid dragon-human form, available once the first Fury bar fills. You get roughly +30% damage and range, 60% damage reduction, longer M1 chains, and faster flight, while keeping human movement. Most serious players live in this form. East’s slower Fury drain means you can hold it noticeably longer than West can.

+30% DMG/Range60% DRBest Uptime
F

Draconic Soar

Free flight with a diving fire impact. East flies slower than West in a straight line but turns much harder. For chasing a fleeing player that is worse. For circling a raid boss or lining up a dive on a crowded platform it is better, and the tighter turning takes far less practice to use well.

Z

Volcanic Roar

The big beam. East’s arc is wider and shorter, which turns it into a wall of fire across a platform rather than a sniper shot. In a Castle on the Sea raid this clears a room. In a duel across open water it mostly misses.

~6,516 chargedWidest Arc
X

Searing Wing Slash

Two wing slashes throwing fire waves outward. East’s wave spread is broader than West’s forward projection. Excellent for mob waves, less precise against a single boss, and one of the main reasons East clears raids faster overall.

~4,480 impactWave Clear
C

Scorching Downfall

Rise up, rain explosive fire across the target area, finish with a central detonation. Around 9,145 total if everything connects. Same move as West’s, but East’s larger model means the projectile spread covers more ground. Use it from height. Using it from the floor is throwing it away.

Revert to Human Form

Drops you out of full dragon early. Knowing when to press this is genuinely the skill gap on Dragon. Riding the transformation to zero leaves you standing in base form with nothing while the meter refills, which is when people die.

Dragon East Tips โ€” Raids, Sea Events and PvP

East rewards a different playstyle than West. If you try to duel with it the way West players duel, you will lose fights you should be winning.

TIP 01

Fight at Mid Range, Not Long

East’s cone moves are wide and short. Standing at max range with West’s spacing means every Z whiffs. Close to mid distance where the cone actually covers your opponent’s dodge options, then commit.

TIP 02

Lean on the Longer Uptime

East drains Fury slower. That is your edge in any fight that goes long or any raid stage with back-to-back waves. Where a West player has to revert and rebuild, you can stay in hybrid form through the whole sequence.

TIP 03

Bring Your Own Instinct Break

East cannot strip Observation Haki. Pair it with a fighting style or sword that can, or accept that your first two moves against a good player will get dodged. Godhuman and Sharkman Karate both fill the gap.

TIP 04

Group Mobs Before Scorching Downfall

Pull a wave together with Imperial Roll first, then go airborne and drop Scorching Downfall on the pile. Used on scattered enemies it wastes most of its damage on empty ground.

TIP 05

The Saddle Is Underused

Four teammates on your back, one flight path, no ship. For sea events and getting a raid team between islands this saves a genuinely silly amount of time. Most Dragon owners never bother unlocking it.

TIP 06

Turn Screenshake Off

Volcanic Roar and Scorching Downfall shake the camera hard enough to cost you the follow-up. One settings toggle, immediate improvement in aim. Do this before you spend a week wondering why your combos drop.

Dragon East Performance Ratings

โš”๏ธ PvP Rating: 8 / 10

Damage Output9.0
Mobility (Flight)8.0
Haki Break Ability4.0
Combo Extension8.0
Survivability9.5

Still a top-tier PvP fruit by any normal standard. The 8/10 is relative to West, not to the field. You lose the Instinct break and some chase speed, and you gain damage reduction uptime that lets you survive fights West players have to fly away from. Against anyone below tournament level the difference barely registers.

๐ŸŒŠ PvE / Raids: 10 / 10

Mob Clearing Speed10
Boss Damage9.5
Raid Performance10
Sea Events9.5
Solo Grinding9.5

This is the best raid fruit in Blox Fruits and it is not particularly close. The largest transformed model in the game, the widest AoE coverage on three separate moves, and the slowest Fury drain add up to a fruit that clears stages faster than anything else. If your account time goes into raids rather than duels, East is the correct pick.

๐Ÿ“Œ Short answer: raids and grinding, take East. Duels and tournaments, take West. Buying permanent with Robux, the question does not apply because you get both. See the Permanent Dragon West page for the other side of the permanent market.

Dragon East Awakening Cost

Awakening runs through the Awakening Hall in the Third Sea, which opens up after you clear the Order Raid. Budget roughly 18,500 fragments for the complete set.

Approximate Fragment Cost Per Move

Heatwave Cannon (Z) โ€” 2,500 fragments
Infernal Pincer (X) โ€” 3,000 fragments
Imperial Roll (C) โ€” 3,500 fragments
Volcanic Roar (Full Dragon Z) โ€” 4,000 fragments
Searing Wing Slash (Full Dragon X) โ€” 4,500 fragments
Saddle โ€” around 1,000 fragments plus 500 mastery

A raid clear returns roughly 750 to 1,500 fragments, so you are looking at 15 to 25 raids. With a group running daily that is two to three weeks.

Awakening Order for East

East’s priority list differs from West’s. Start with Imperial Roll (C), because the awakened version widens an already wide spin and that is where East’s raid speed comes from. Searing Wing Slash is second for the same reason. Heatwave Cannon can wait, since the awakened version mostly improves reach and reach is the thing East is not built around.

Get Something Else Awakened First

If you are starting from zero, awaken Buddha off cheap raid runs and use it to farm Order Raids quickly, then pour the fragments into Dragon. Grinding awakening fragments with an unawakened Dragon works, it is just slower than it needs to be.

๐Ÿ“Œ Worth knowing: the Blox Fruits Fandom Wiki tracks move-level changes patch by patch, which is useful when a rebalance lands and you want to know whether your awakening order still makes sense.

Dragon East Value History

BEFORE DEC 2024
No East variant existed
There was one Dragon fruit, trading in the single-digit millions and periodically pulled from the dealer, which quietly built scarcity over time.
DEC 2024 โ€” UPDATE 24
The split and the rework
Dragon became two fruits with a Fury Meter, a hybrid form, and a full transformation. Physical East opened around 350M to 550M while the community worked out what it could actually do. Permanent East launched near 2.7B.
JAN โ€“ APR 2025
Raid clear times reset expectations
Once groups started running East in Order and Castle raids, the clear times spoke for themselves. Values climbed steadily, though always a step behind West as the PvP crowd bid that one up harder.
JUN โ€“ SEP 2025
Physical 2.2Bโ€“3.1B ยท Permanent 6.2Bโ€“8B
Token supply from the Update 24 conversion ran dry. With Robux and trading the only remaining sources, supply tightened and both variants moved up together.
OCT 2025 โ€“ JAN 2026
Physical 3.6Bโ€“4B ยท Permanent 9Bโ€“10B
The West-to-East gap settled at a consistent 10 to 15 percent and has held there since. That stability is part of why East is considered a safe hold.
2026 โ€” CURRENT
Physical 4.5B ยท Permanent 11.2B
Flat at the top with 10/10 demand. No nerfs signalled. East moves when West moves, which makes it easy to price but means it will not outrun the market on its own.
OUTLOOK
Stable, with West as the anchor
The realistic range for the rest of 2026 is 4.2B to 5B physical and 10.5B to 13B permanent. A new Sea or a raid-heavy update would favour East specifically. A nerf to AoE width is the main downside risk, and nothing in developer communication points that way right now.

Best Trades for Dragon East

Check every one of these in the trade calculator before you agree. At this tier the gap between a W and an L is often bigger than most players’ entire inventory.

Physical Dragon East (4.5B)

โœ“ W
Their Perm Kitsune (1.85B) + Leopard (1.65B) + Kilo Cannon (400M) + Dark Blade (350M) + ~400M in filler for your Physical Dragon East. Around 4.65B incoming, and every piece of it moves easily.
โš– FAIR
Their Physical Dragon West (5.1B) for your Physical Dragon East plus a 500M to 600M add. Correct pricing on the gap. Only do it if you actually want West’s playstyle, since you are paying real value for it.
โš– FAIR
Their 4.4B to 4.7B in Legendary physicals for your Dragon East. The number works. Liquidity does not. You are turning one instant-trade item into five that each need their own buyer.
โœ• L
Their Physical Kitsune (640M) + 3.8B of Rare and Uncommon fruits for your Dragon East. On paper it adds up. In practice you have swapped a 4.5B asset for a pile nobody will take off your hands.

Permanent Dragon East (11.2B)

โœ“ W
Their Perm Dragon West (12.8B) for your Perm Dragon East plus up to 1.2B. You move to the top permanent in the game for less than the sticker gap. Take it if you have the add.
โš– FAIR
Their Perm Kitsune (1.85B) + Perm Leopard (1.69B) + 7.5B in other top permanents for your Perm Dragon East. Roughly 11B. Fine value, worse liquidity, only worth it if you were planning to hold the pieces anyway.
โœ• L
Their Physical Dragon East (4.5B) for your Permanent Dragon East (11.2B). Same fruit name, completely different market. This is the most common scam attempt on this item and it costs 6.7B.
โœ• L
Their “two perms for one perm” offer where both of theirs are mid-tier. Two 2B permanents do not equal an 11.2B permanent, no matter how confidently it is presented.

Dragon East โ€” Frequently Asked Questions

What is Dragon East worth in Blox Fruits 2026?+
Physical Dragon East trades at roughly 4.5B and the permanent version at around 11.2B in community trade units, with 10/10 demand. It is the second most valuable item in the game behind Dragon West. Values are reviewed daily on our value list.
Is Dragon East better than Dragon West?+
For raids, sea events, and grinding, yes. East has the largest transformed model in the game, wider AoE on Volcanic Roar and Searing Wing Slash, and slower Fury drain for longer transformation uptime. For duels and tournaments West is better, because it flies faster and its Heatwave Cannon breaks Observation Haki. Trading value follows the PvP crowd, which is why West prices higher despite East being the stronger PvE fruit.
Does Dragon East break Instinct?+
No. Breaking Observation Haki on a direct Heatwave Cannon hit is exclusive to Dragon West. If you run East in PvP you need a fighting style or sword that can strip Instinct, otherwise good players will dodge your opener every time. Godhuman and Sharkman Karate are the usual pairings.
If I buy Permanent Dragon, do I get both West and East?+
Yes. The 5,000 Robux permanent Dragon purchase unlocks both variants on your account and you choose which one to use each time you transform. This is the single best reason to buy permanent rather than chase the physical fruit, and it is why permanent Dragon holds such a large value premium over the physical version.
How much does it cost to awaken Dragon East?+
About 18,500 fragments for the full set, spread across five awakened moves plus the Saddle. Raids give 750 to 1,500 fragments each, so plan on 15 to 25 clears. For East specifically, awaken Imperial Roll (C) first and Searing Wing Slash second, since both widen the AoE that East’s raid performance depends on.
How many players can ride Dragon East?+
Four allied players once you unlock the Saddle, which needs 500 mastery and around 5,000 fragments. Dragon West carries five. For a standard raid team of five that one-seat difference occasionally matters, though in practice most groups just take two trips or send someone on a ship.
Will Dragon East value rise in 2026?+
Most traders expect it to stay flat to slightly up, moving in step with Dragon West rather than independently. A new Sea release or a raid-focused update would help East specifically, since its advantages are all PvE. The main risk is an AoE width nerf, which nothing in current developer communication suggests is coming.
Can I get Dragon East for free?+
Only through an extremely unlikely natural spawn. There is no code, generator, or giveaway site that hands out Dragon East, and every page claiming otherwise is after your Roblox account or your inventory. The legitimate routes are 15M Beli for the physical fruit, 5,000 Robux for the permanent, or a player trade.
